I have known Mara for 15 years, first as a yoga teacher, then a body work- therapist and, also as a doula. No matter what the setting, Mara knows the human body from the inside out, top to bottom.  She understands the power of a persons’s energy and knows when and how to hold space and encourage healing and nourishment. Mara has an innate  gift to read a person, and to help usher away stagnation and trauma so one can get past areas of pain and welcome in growth and renewal. ~Liza

I'll be forever grateful for Mara and her work. When I was first told about Mara, I knew that I had to schedule a call with her, I felt lost in life.  After our first call, I knew I had just met one of the most important souls on my journey. It's been 5 years and I still cry thinking of how helpful she's been. Mara creates a safe environment which allows me to be my most vulnerable. One of the beautiful things about Mara is she is wholeheartedly about love.  Love.  Showing one love is so many ways in her work with her clients.

I experienced this firsthand when I had a spiritual transformation hit me dramatically out of the clear blue.  Although, I am sure it was more like the timing was such to where it had to happen.  It took me by complete surprise, the intensity of it and the out of balance everything seemed to be at once.  This is when I reached out to Mara, and I had no concept of what it would be like to walk this situation with a deeply spiritual person that has a deep sincere strong desire to help me on this path.  It was all new to me.  I could completely share everything with someone who listened intently, was completely engaged in my healing path and had absolutely no judgment at all, none.  This allowed me to feel safe to fully go into experiencing what my system was wanting to release and dissolve.   It was clearing things out, and it was pretty intense, but always always knew that working with Mara on this was a safe place, a place of no judgment, a place of love and nothing to fear.  Mara is a very spiritual person.  It would amaze me at how she could see things that were hidden to me behind what I was expressing.  It would open doors for me in my mind.  This would lead to more awakening to what was really going on.  To learn to meditate on it.  Learn to sit with it even if it was hard to.  Mara would teach me how to do that, how to learn to understand more of myself.  Although it was a difficult time, it has also been a very healing and life transforming experience and I would not have been able to honestly go into that space without the help, the holding and the love that Mara gave.  It is who she is.  Love.  I love her for this and am so grateful. ~Anonymous
